Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God." (1 Book of Gregory 9 Decret. c.3)
• The Lateran Council addressing Pope Julius II in an oration delivered by Marcellus said: "Take care that we lose not that salvation, that life and breath which thou hast given us, for thou art our shepherd, thou art our physician, thou art our governor, thou art our husbandman, thou art finally another God on earth." (Council Edition. Colm. Agrip. 1618)
• Pope Nicholas said of himself: "I am in all and above all, so that God Himself and I, the vicar of God, hath both one consistory, and I am able to do almost all that God can do…wherefore, if those things that I do be said not to be done of man, but of God, what do you make of me but God? Again, if prelates of the Church be called of Constantine for gods, I then being above all prelates, seem by this reason to be above all gods. Wherefore, no marvel, if it be in my power to dispense with all things, yea with the precepts of Christ." (Decret. par. Distinct 96 ch. 7 edit. Lugo 1661)
• The RC New York catechism states: "The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth…by divine right the Pope has supreme and full power in faith, in morals over each and every pastor and his flock. He is the true vicar, the head of the entire church, the father and teacher of all Christians. He is the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author of and the judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth, the judge of all, being judged by no one, God himself on earth."
• The title "Lord God the Pope" - these words appeared in the Canon Law of Rome. "To believe that our Lord God the Pope has not the power to decree as he is decreed, is to be deemed heretical." (The Gloss extravagances of Pope John XXII Cum. Inter, tit XIV Ad Callem Sexti Decretalium, Paris, 1685)
• Father A. Pereira acknowledged: "It is quite certain that Popes have never disapproved or rejected this title "Lord God the Pope" for the passage in the gloss referred to appears in the edition of the Canon Law published in Rome by Gregory XIII."
• Writers on Canon Law say: "The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth." (Barclay Cap. XXVII p. 218 Cities Petrus Bertanous, Pius V)
• Pope Nicholas I declared that "the appellation of God had been confirmed by Constantine on the Pope, who being God, cannot be judged by man." (Labb IX Dist.: 96 Can 7 Satis Evidentur Decret Gratian Primer Para)

The true God tells us:

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another… (Isaiah 42:8)

I wish more Catholics could be as honest as this:

Many years ago, Cardinal Manning said: "The Catholic Church is either the masterpiece of Satan or the Kingdom of the Son of God."

A FUNDAMENTAL AND HISTORICAL FACT IS: The Old Testament & New Testament PRECEDE the Qur'an...

QUESTION: Why does the Qur'an contain historical and factual errors?

It is written in the Qur'an that Muhammad proclaimed the Jewish Torah / Christian Old Testament (Taurat) as correct in Qur'an 5:46/47 and 43:63 .

OUR ANSWER: Based on Muhammad's own statement, the following gross errors that differ with the Torah are inexcusable.


1. The Qur'an confuses the sister of Moses (Miriam) with Mary, the mother of Jesus. In Hebrew, Miriam and Mary are the same names.

2. How many angels were talking to Mary? When the Qur'an speaks about the annunciation of the birth of Jesus to the Virgin Mary, Sura 3:42,45 speaks about (several) angels while it is only one in Sura 19:17-21.
The Christian Bible clearly indicated one angel; "In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth," Luke 1:26

3. Do you remember the evil Persian Haman who conspired to kill all the Jews during the time of Esther in the Babylonian captivity? In the Qur'an, Muhammad incorrectly taught that this wicked man Haman was the prime minister of the Egyptian Pharaoh.( Sura 28:6,28:38,40:36). Throughout the Qur'an--Nimrod and Abraham, Haman and Moses, Mary and Aaron, the tower of Babel and Pharaoh were all pictured as living and working together. Moses and the flood are also incorrectly found together. Muhammad thought these all happened at the same time.

4. What about Noah's son? According to Sura 21:76, Noah and his family is saved from the flood, and Sura 37:77 confirms that his seed survived. But Sura 11:42-43 reports that Noah's son drowns.

5. Sura 7:134-136, 7:59 say Noah's flood took place in Moses' day. Did anyone tell Moses that?

6. Sura 14:37, says Abraham lived in the valley of Mecca. The Bible says he lived in Hebron, Israel. (Genesis 13:18, 23:2, 35:27)

7. Sura 7:54, 10:3, 11:7, and 25:59 clearly state that God created "the heavens and the earth" in six days. But in 41:9-12 the detailed description of the creation procedure adds up to eight days.
8. Sura 6:74, says Abraham (called millata-Ibrahim in the Qur'an) father's name was Azar. The Bible says it was Terah (Genesis 11:27).

9. Sura 12:21ff, says the man who bought Joseph was named Aziz. The Bible says it was Potiphar.

10. Sura 5:73-75,116, Muhammad mistakenly thought the Christian Trinity was 3 gods: the Father, the Mother (Mary), and the Son (Jesus).

11. Sura 28:8-9, says it was Pharaoh's wife who adopted Moses. The Bible says it was Pharaoh's daughter.

12. Sura 20:87, 95, says the Jews made the golden calf in the wilderness at the suggestion of Samaritans. There were no Samaritans at that time.

13. The Quran says that man was created from a clot of blood..the Torah says man was created from the dust of the ground.

Burma's military dictatorship has launched a new wave of attacks against predominantly Christian Karen villages, as reported by Christian Newswire on behalf of Christian Freedom International (CFI). "In Burma this time of year is known locally as the 'killing season' and this year is no exception," said the CFI story. "During the dry season soldiers can move easier in the dense jungles of Burma, and this year the military junta has stepped up its genocidal attacks on the Karen, an ethnic minority in Burma." More than 700 displaced men, women and children recently arrived in Ko Kay village. "When the new soldiers arrived in Toungoo and Nyaunglebin districts, they spread their soldiers around the area. They try to find Karen villages. If they see the villagers, they try to capture and persecute them. Therefore, people who are living there dare not face the Burma army. They fled their villages and are hiding in the mountainside and jungle in safe places to save their lives," said Aro. This is creating a humanitarian emergency. Aro is reported to have said, "The Burmese came and destroyed everything so all the villagers having nothing to eat and cannot grow food for the year."

Pray God will comfort His suffering people with His presence and strength in these evil days. Pray Christians worldwide will respond to the needs of our brothers and sisters in Burma. Pray the Holy Spirit will move powerfully to remove these twisted Buddhist leaders from power.

By the water we are baptized, dying to ourselves and being reborn to what?
Water is changed into blood...whose blood?
ANSWER:
The blood of Jesus , just three days before the Resurrection and to what result?
Easter Sunday is the anniversary of that result.
Jesus rose from that grave as First Fruits showing us what is in store for those who follow Him.

Today we celebrate not only his ressurection but our own future.
He showed us the way.
Today is a day of celebration, Rejoice---sing praises---give thanks to Jesus our Lord and Saviour, Rejoice!!!!!!!!!!!

Arguments against the Ressurection of Jesus

#1 The disciples stole Jesus' body

If anyone stole the body of Jesus the Roman authority had the power to track them down and take the body back. This is what would have happened in order to prove his followers wrong, but didn't because the religious leaders and the guards knew the truth of what happened.

A Roman guard would never fall asleep on his shift. If a Roman guard was caught sleeping, he would be killed in his sleep. Is it possble for all the guards to have fallen asleep at the same time? Even if so, it would be impossible for a few regular guys to break a Roman seal, move a 2 ton stone, unwrap Jesus' body and carry him away without waking up even one of the guards. Could a few disciples carrying a dead body move faster than a Roman guard?

#2 The disciples went to the wrong tomb

All the Jewish and Roman leaders would have had to do is go to the right tomb.

#3 The disciples and guards had hallucinated

In order to hallucinate, you must have a mental state of expectancy in that which you hallucinate about. You can't hallucinate about something that is alien to your own nature. Many Jews didnt believe in a resurrection. The ones who did, believed the resurrection would be at the end of time before the last Judgment. None of them expected Jesus to rise from the dead. You can't have the disciples and the guards all having the same hallucination at the same time that someone comes to steal the body, and then 500 people see the resurrected Jesus in hallucinations over a period of 40 days. This is psychologically impossible.

#4 Jesus resuscitated in the tomb

You don't resuscitate after a Roman crucifixion, period!

Blood and water flowed from his side when he was pierced. The water seperates from the blood only after you're DEAD.

#5 All the followers of Jesus were lying about the resurrection

No one would ever allow themselves to be tortured for something they know to be a lie.

Barthalomew- Skinned alive by a whip in Armenia

Andrew- crucified

Peter- crucified upside down

Thomas- pierced to death by a sword near Maydrus

Luke- hanged in Greece

Mark- dragged to death in the streets of Alexandria

Paul- 5 times beaten with whips, stoned, 3 times beaten with rods, imprisoned, etc.

John- boiled alive but didn't die

Stephen- Stoned to death in Jerusalem

You dont pay that kind of price for a lie, especially if your dying alone.
If they are miles apart from each other, with no communication, not knowing whether or not you would see each other again, there is no way all of them would accept a horrible martyrs death and not one spill the truth. NOT A SINGLE ONE renegged their story. Again, the psychology doesn't make any sense here.

If someone claimed they would die and rise again 3 days later, you might think they were a nut. But if they died and did resurrect as they said, you should probably stop and take a second look at that person.

So you must decide according to the facts (there are hundreds of more facts that prove Jesus to be the Messiah other than these).

Was Jesus God or was he a nut?

If you're not going to call him God dont call him a good and wise teacher.

He could have been wise and tricked people into believing he was God, but then he wouldn't be good.

He could have been good and crazy making himself to be God, but he wouldn't be very wise.

Either the Father raised Jesus from the dead and he came out of that tomb alive, or not and he was a lying lunatic. There is no middle ground.

ONLY GOD IS GOOD. If Jesus did not resurrect then he is by no means good and our faith in him is in vain. If Jesus did resurrect, then He is God...King of kings and Lord of lords and will one day come back to judge the world, as he said.

His Life poured out for us...the ransom was paid. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

On the third day He said He would rise from the grave...AND HE DID RISE FROM THE GRAVE! (Mark 9:31, Mark 16:16)

What? Wait!
Many say that He is just a good and wise teacher or even a prophet!

Good & WISE?
Wise in the context that He said He would rise from the grave?
No, you should say that Jesus is Good & CRAZY...instead of calling Him good & wise!

A prophet?
No, a Lunatic!
What prophet said that they could rise from the dead?

No mortal man can say that they can conquer the grave!

Good and wise...How could He rise? Either Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, the I AM, the creator of all things visible and invisible...OR NOT

BUT NO MAN HAS EVER, COULD EVER, OR WILL EVER RISE FROM THE GRAVE ON HIS OWN!

Some of these facts are:

1) BROKEN ROMAN SEAL (Matt 27:66)

The consequences of breaking the seal were extremely severe. If they were apprehended, it meant automatic execution by crucifixion upside down. People feared the breaking of the seal.

2) EMPTY TOMB (John 20:1)

The disciples of Christ did not go off to Athens or Rome to preach that Christ was raised from the dead. Rather, they went right back to the city of Jerusalem, where, if what they were teaching was false, the falsity would be evident. The empty tomb was "too notorious to be denied." Both Jewish and Roman sources admit an empty tomb.

3) LARGE STONE MOVED (Matt 28:2)

On that Sunday morning the first thing that impressed the people who approached the tomb was the unusual position of the one and a half to two ton stone that had been lodged in front of the doorway. All the Gospel writers mention it.

4)ROMAN GUARD GOES AWOL (Matt 28:12-15)

The Roman guards fled. They left their place of responsibility. How can their attrition he explained, when Roman military discipline was so exceptional?

5)GRAVE CLOTHES TELL A TALE (John 20:4-8)

In a literal sense, against all statements to the contrary, the tomb was not totally empty--because of an amazing phenomenon. John, a disciple of Jesus, looked over to the place where the body of Jesus had lain, and there were the grave clothes, in the form of the body, slightly caved in and empty--like the empty chrysalis of a caterpillar's cocoon. That's enough to make a believer out of anybody. John never did get over it.

6)JESUS' APPEARANCES CONFIRMED (John 20:1-31)

Christ appeared alive on several occasions after the cataclysmic events of that first Easter and there where MORE THAN enough witnesses who saw him after HE ROSE TO CONFIRM IT AS A FACT!

7) In Paul's day, there were still 500 or so people who personally saw Jesus after He rose on the third day!!!

These eyewitnesses TESTIFIED to this FACT. 500 people in Paul's day alone! (Acts 2:32)

There are more facts...but a question to the doubter...What more proof do you want?

What more does Jesus have to do in order for you to have faith?
If He did do what you ask, Would it really change your mind or would you doubt what you saw also?

THERE IS ONLY ONE JESUS!

Good Friday Message--Why Jesus died for us

Our Lord God is all forgiving and all powerful.
Our Lord God is also JUST and RIGHTEOUS.

Our Lord God's righteousness and justice demand that sin be punished (Romans 3:23; 6:23).

Since all sin is ultimately committed against God (Psalm 51:4), the only just punishment for sin is death (Roman 6:23).

We know this fact well...BECAUSE WE ALL DIE.

Question:
How will you ever be righteous in the eyes of God?

Do you think that your works, forgiveness of sins by a man, long and heart felt prayers, or even the saints will help you?

Really? YOU'RE DEAD!

Thank the Lord that He has provided salvation beyond the ways of man!!

LATEST FROM CHINA:

A major Chinese house-church leader was scheduled for a potentially decisive court hearing April 6th, after more than 16 months in police custody. Zhang Rongliang was arrested by Henan police without charges on December 1, 2004. Only months later was he charged with "attaining a passport through cheating" and with "illegal border crossing." Chinese authorities often deny passports to well-known house-church leaders. Health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure have grown worse while he has been in custody. Previously, Zhang had been detained five times and spent a total of 12 years in prison for his religious activities. "This will be his third hearing," said a co-worker who asked to remain anonymous. "This time I hope the court can make an independent decision based on truth and justice." Although VOM has no further news of the outcome of this trial, we are concerned for Zhang's welfare.

Pray God will soften the hearts of the authorities to release this innocent man with serious health problems. Pray Zhang's faith will continue to inspire the millions of members of the house churches he led. Pray those who attend the trial will seek the One who has given Zhang so much peace in the midst of suffering.

Mind Control: The Roman Catholic Church and Globalism

The Middle Ages (the Dark Age) was the darkest period that Europe had ever seen. During this period, much adavancement made by Rome and earlier civilizations was lost and hardly (if any) social/technoligical progress was made. The fundamental reason for this was that the Roman Catholic Church ruled all (or almost all) of Europe. This was a dark and horrible period for the people of Europe. Under the Catholic Church people were:

1. Kept from thinking "outside of the box."
2. Called a "heretic for any form of questioning what the Catholic Church said.
3. Tortured and killed for disagreeing with their doctrine.
4. Kept from knowing the truth.
5. Kept from reading the Bible for themselves.
6. Had no freedom of speech, the press, ideas or expression.
7. Allowed to only know what the Church taught.
8. Not allowed to think for themselves.

This kind of mental slavery restricted progress and social advancement. The Catholic Church was fueled by their lust for power, control, manipulation, and money. As it has been said, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutley." This is exactly what happened to the Catholic Church. In order to stay in power they were forced to suppress the truth and free thinking.

With the Enlightenment and Reformation Era, people were once again able to questioon and think freely. The freedom of thoughts, ideas, expression and the ability to question is key to progress, understanding, and the finding of truth. Some of the greastest thinkers, inventors and scientist since the Enlightenment include Newton, Eddison, Bell, and Franklin. They all made great attribution to the way we think and proved that you do not have to throw your brain out the window and become a mindless zombie in order to be a Christian. Even Einstein at least believed in a Creator. They were not forced to be Christians but they were so because of their ability to think for themselves.

With the Reformation of the Church also came the division of the Christian Chuch into denominations because of differences in Biblical interpretation.
Today the Catholic Church (for the most part) still discourages questioning and personal Bible study.

I DO NOT want to devote this particular blog to debating over doctrine or whether or not the Pope is God's Word on Earth. I want to know what people think about the freedom to question, express ideas, and think freely.

" A Hindu extremist group planning centenary celebrations in April hopes to "reconvert" as many as 10,000 tribal Christians to Hinduism during the event. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold the Dharma Jogna in Orissa, India, on April 8th – 10th. Given the recent trend of mass "reconversion" ceremonies organized by the RSS and its sister organization, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP or World Hindu Council), Christian leaders fear many tribal people may be persuaded to reconvert against their will. "We are extremely worried," said the Rev. Dandia Basi Hrudaya, secretary of the Orissa chapter of the All India Christian Council (AICC). "The AICC and other Christian leaders are meeting this week to finalize plans to protect the tribals during this event."

Pray the Lord of all creation will strengthen the faith of the tribal people with supernatural courage to stand up for Jesus. Pray the Holy Spirit will send a spirit of confusion into the minds of the Hindu extremists. Pray the plans of the organizers of this event will backfire and more Hindus will seek to know Christ.
